ZIJRA VS PLAUSIBLE

A Plausible alternative with Stripe revenue from Free.

Plausible and Zijra both help you understand website traffic without starting with an advertising platform. The useful comparison is how each tool measures revenue, what you need to configure, and which plan fits your workload.

Zijra imports captured Stripe payments and succeeded refunds. Plausible supports real revenue attribution through revenue-enabled events and ecommerce integrations. This guide is written by Zijra: it explains our approach and the reasons you might prefer Plausible.

Choose the revenue workflow you want to maintain

Zijra's Stripe connection imports payment facts from your authorized merchant account. Consented checkout context or supported identity metadata can associate those facts with a collected visit. Unmatched payments remain visible as unattributed; an imported payment is not proof that its marketing source is known.

Plausible lets you attach an amount and currency to a conversion event. Its dashboard can break revenue down by source, campaign and page. Events may come from a website or its Events API, and supported ecommerce integrations can automate collection. It would be inaccurate to say Plausible cannot track revenue or that every merchant must build the integration from scratch.

Count your actual workload before comparing the bill

Zijra Free includes 10,000 events per month, 1 website, 3 goals, 1 funnel and 6 months of full-detail history. Stripe revenue attribution is included. Journeys, API access and MCP start on Founder at $5/month for 100,000 events.

Zijra's allowance is measured in events, not only pageviews. Plausible also counts custom events toward its advertised monthly pageview allowance. A nominal traffic band therefore does not guarantee the same billable workload: include the events your implementation sends, required features, sites and team members.

Use the dated price comparison for the listed revenue-enabled plans, rather than treating an entry price as a revenue-plan quote. Free alternatives can cost less, and a lower subscription price does not mean every feature, deployment option or implementation cost is equivalent.

Separate aggregate traffic from payment attribution

Zijra starts with cookieless aggregate tracking. Linking a visit to a payment can make that activity identifiable, so the attribution path has a separate consent boundary. Without eligible consented context or identity, Zijra can show the payment without assigning it to a visitor journey.

Cookieless does not automatically mean consent-exempt. Review the processing, your region and the other technology on your site. Zijra's privacy policy, DPA and subprocessor information describe its responsibilities and data handling; they do not replace the site operator's own assessment.

When Plausible may be the better fit

Keep Plausible on your shortlist if self-hosting or its existing ecommerce integrations are central to your requirements. Its WordPress integration supports automatic WooCommerce and Easy Digital Downloads revenue tracking. An established implementation that already answers your questions can be worth keeping.

Choose Zijra when you want hosted website analytics with Stripe payment and refund imports, a permanent free starting allowance, and scoped API or MCP reporting as you grow. Only Stripe is live for Zijra revenue connections; the other listed payment providers are coming soon.

Evaluate before replacing a working setup

  • Install Zijra on a website you control and verify that a genuine visit arrives. A saved snippet alone does not establish collection.
  • Connect your Stripe account with the documented read permissions. Verify the selected payment mode and currency, and implement the supported attribution context with your consent flow.
  • Compare the same completed reporting period. Reconcile captured payments, refunds and unattributed revenue separately from visit counts.
  • Inspect any historical import's supported format and definitions before relying on it. Imported history does not create missing visitor identity or retrospectively prove a payment source.
